5 miles

Ran along the canal. Pain and stiffness in the leg at first but then it went away and I sped up. By two hours later, not only did my lower right leg hurt, but my left ankle and my quads hurt as well. Clerly something is wrong and resting didn't help, so I'll lay off and switch to other activities and see the doctor Monday.

3 miles & strength training

Took two days of rest because I'm having some real pain in the right lower leg. Took it easy on this run. It's like breathing. I can't be hurt! Pouring rain and I was soaked but I loved it. Sore afterwards though, but not too bad.

Weekly Mileage-22 miles

Lower mileage because I was tired and then the leg was bugging me. Hope I can step it up next week. This week I couldn't muster up the energy for a speed workout. My race calender is now 10ks and 5ks, so it will be different training now. I want to keep up my mileage every other long run though.

10 miles

Took yesterday off and rode my bike to the gym to strength train instead. Feeling some pain on the outside of my right shin, just below the knee and that concerned me. I ran fine today, though some soreness developed across the shin in that spot later. It doesn't feel like shin splints but it doesn'r feel right either. This was a good run, 10 is pretty easy for me now at a nice 10 minute mile pace.

Bad run today because I was very stressed and anxious about my bar results, which I received this evening. I passed! Hope that's good for my running, because this run was heavy and sluggish and my mind wasn't there.

Decent run, nothing too exciting. Weather is nice. Still feeling tired from the tough two weekend races I just had. Not sure weather I'm lazy or need some recovery time.
